Fabien Cappello is a interior and furniture designer based in Mexico City. Open since 2010 the studio produces work in different contexts; from commercial objects to limited editions and public environments. All work shares a high consideration for both craft techniques and industrial production.

Hola! I am @fabien.cappello and I will be in charge of @copier.coller.club all this week, sharing with you specific investigations and thoughts of my work as a designer. Saludos from my daily coffee place in the historic center of Mexico City.

4 years ago, I moved to Mexico City and started to make videos of people carrying things. I never thought of it as a aesthetic exercise, I am genuinely wondering : what if the size of your business can be hand held? What if all the material and digital production you had on a daily basis could be transported on a small engine-less trolley? What impact would it have? On your incomes? on your clients? On your body? On the traffic? On your carbon footprint? On the organization of your neighborhood? Of the city? Of the society?
